Do not resort to reproach that clouds what has grown serene;
lower your wing if you desire a close friend.
فَالوُدُّ لا تَبقى عَلَيكَ ظِلالُهُ
غِن لَم يَكُن لِلسِيِّئاتِ حَمولا
For affection’s shade will not remain over you
