1. غيطانُنا قَد جَوشَنَت

    غُدرانَها كَفُّ النَسيمِ

    Our valleys have overflowed

    Their treachery is like the breeze's palm

  2. وَسَماؤُنا في خِلعَةٍ

    دَكناءَ مِن خَزِّ الغُيومِ

    And our sky is in a dark gown

    Of the clouds' velvet

  3. فَاِجلُ الَّتي تُنمى إِذا اِن

    تَسَبَت إِلى كَرمٍ كَريمِ

    So hurry up before

    You slip into a generous vineyard

  4. فَالعَيسُ مُذ اَثرى الثَرى

    قَد غاصَ في نِعَمِ النَعيمِ

    For the living one since he enriched the soil

    Has indulged in the bliss of paradise
