O you who saw my humiliation as power
Look at me, for I remain confused
You teased me with your hands, pulling me towards you
Yet when I stumbled, you left me fallen
How long will I be in the shackles of my youth
If I was once undemanding of your love, now all rugged
If I had the patience to resist desire’s passions
I would not be satisfied to be left behind
