1. قَد لاحَ في فَودِك المَشيبُ

    وَرَثَّ مِن عُمرِكَ القَشيبُ

    The grey has dawned upon your cheeks,

    And harvested the stubble of your years,

  2. فَكُن لِداعي التُقى مُجيباً

    مِن قَبلُ تُدعى فَلا تُجيبُ

    So heed the caller unto righteousness,

    Lest you were called before and did not hear.
