1. السَبنِياتُ وَالمَقادِم

    وَالفَرَجِيَّاتُ وَالعَمائِم

    The long dresses and the veils

    The shawls and the headscarves

  2. قَد نَشَرَتها الرِياضُ مِنها

    لِلعَرضِ في أَحسَنِ المَواسِم

    Have been laid out by the meadows

    For display in the finest seasons

  3. فَاِبتَع بِها سَكرَةً وَإِلّا

    لَم تَكُ بَينَ التِجارِ حازِم

    So take some as wares, or else

    You won't rank among shrewd traders

  4. فَالقُضبُ قَد كُلِّلَت بِدُرٍّ

    ما لَعِبَت فيهِ كَفُّ ناظِم

    For sprigs have been crowned with pearls

    Untouched by any arranger's hand
