مُحَسِّنٌ بنُ المِلحِ مِن جَهلِهِ

يَدخُلُ فيما لَيسَ يَعنيهِ

The improver, son of salt, in his ignorance

Enters into what does not concern him.

إِذا بَدا شاهدتَ مُستَثقِلاً

قَ ضَلَّ في تيهٍ مِنَ التيهِ

When he appears, you see him weighed down -

Lost in straying, straying from the straying.
