1. وَأَهيَفٍ ان تَثَنّى

    فَكُلُّهُ حَرَكاتُ

    And how graceful his every slight bend,

    Each and all but the restless play

  2. لِطَرفِهِ غابُ جَفنٍ

    لُيوثُهُ اللَحَظاتُ

    Of his lids where yearning has set

    Its lair and its painful array.

  3. سُبلُ المَلاحَةِ مِنهُ

    تَضِلُّ فيها الصِفاتُ

    The paths of perception in him

    Lead astray other men’s qualities.
