ثَرى البِركَةِ الغَنّاءَ حالي المُقَلَّدِ
عَلَيهِ عُقودٌ مِن لُجَينٍ وَعَسجَدِ
The fertile ground sings, decorated
With necklaces of pearls and carnelian
فَهاتِ الَّتي يَبدو عَلَيها حَبابُها
فَتَنظُرُ فيها أَبيَضاً في مُوَرَّدِ
Bring forth the one whose bubbles appear
White in crimson you see
وَأَغصانُها إِن دَغدَغَتها يَدُ الصِبا
تَأَمَّلتَ مِنها غُلمَةً مِن تَأَوُّدِ
If the hand of the breeze strokes its branches
You find in it affectionate boys
