وَعاتِقِ صُبحَةٍ جُلِيَت عَلَينا

بِتاجٍ مِن عَجائِبِها وَعِقدِ

In the dawn's embrace, wonders were revealed to us

With a crown of its mysteries and necklace

مَجَرَّةِ جَدوَلٍ وَسَماءِ آسٍ

وَأَنجُمِ نَرجِسٍ وَشُموسِ وَردِ

Of a river's starry stream and cloudy sky

And narcissus stars and rose suns

وَبَرقِ مُدامَةٍ وَغَمامِ كَأسٍ

وَرَعدُ مُثالِثٍ وَضَبابُ نَدِّ

And flashing lightning and chalice clouds

And triple thunder and misty dew

مَحاسِنُ رَندَجَت ما صَيغَ مِنها

زِيارَةُ مَن أُحِبُّ بِغَيرِ وَعدِ

The beautiful one prepared what was molded

Visiting whom I love without promise
