O you of firm resolve and strong determination,
Of wise planning and sound judgement,
Enjoy these days and live in comfort,
With bright cheerful eyes and no companion.
Drink between ruby and rose wine,
Pour clear dew and silver jasmine,
Jewels that make the settings laugh
When slender branches wear them.
From the wine that makes worries clear,
And turns aside sorrows from the sad soul,
You see from it eyes in the cups
When it is mixed into sipping bubbles.
And only take the path of drunkenness
To wake the heart of him with sleepy eyes,
On his cheek a beauty spot that turns,
Like the night of doubt in the dawn of certainty.
And live celebrations like your feast a thousand feasts,
For the like of you is not seen in a thousand eras.
