الراحُ يَجلوها غَزالٌ أَغيَدُ
في رَوضَةٍ أَغصانُها تَتَأَوَّدُ
The breeze makes it sway, a slender gazelle
In a garden where branches gently bend
فَاِشرَب عَلى الماءِ الَّذي هُوَ فِضَّةق
مِن ذَلِكَ الماءِ الَّذي هُوَ عَسجَدُ
So drink from the silver water there
From that sweet water, pure and cool
فَكَأَنَّما شَرَفُ الأَقاحي لُؤلُؤٌ
وَكَأَنَّما عُمُدُ الغُصونِ زَبَرجَدُ
As if the meadowflowers were pearls
And the boughs were columns of emerald
