O you who wrong me in what you judge

The help of the stubborn against me is plentiful from you

And I see him seeking my love as recompense, so if

I give it, it is as if I will regret you

Ask the ardent love which you employed

Is there any loyalty to me ahead of it

So if you take what its path delivers

Sign with my fairness, or else I am wronged
