يا مَن يَروحُ وَيَغتَدي

بَينَ التَمَرُّدِ وَالجِسارَه

O you who comes and goes

Between defiance and daring

ما لِلفَتى وَلِمَتجَرٍ

أَرباحُهُ فيهِ خَسارَه

What use is there for the lad or the merchant

Whose profits in it are loss

لا تَتَّجِر في السِيِّئا

تِ فَإِنَّها بِئسَ التِجارَه

Trade not in evil

For it is wretched commerce
