1. نَحنُ الَّذينَ غَدَت رَحى أَحسابِهِم

    وَلَها عَلى قُطبِ الفَخارِ مَدارُ

    We are the ones whose accounts have become

    Like the rotation of a millstone.

  2. قَومٌ لِغُصنِ نَداهُمُ مِن رِفدِهِم

    وَرَقٌ وَمِن مَعروفِهِم أَثمارُ

    A people whose branches are sustained by their roots,

    Leaves and fruits come from their benevolence.

  3. مِن كُلِّ وَضّاحِ الجَبينِ كَأَنَّهُ

    رَوضٌ خَلائِقُهُ لَهُ أَزهارُ

    Every serene forehead among them is as though

    It were a garden with colorful flowers.
