1. وَراحٍ تَدافَعَ أَنفاسُها

    غَريمَ الغَرامِ عَنِ الأَنفُسِ

    Winds rush, breathing heavily,

    To defend those enamored from harm,

  2. إِذا ما الحَبابُ عَلاها بَدَت

    كَوَردٍ تَبَسَّمَ عَن نَرجِسِ

    When dewdrops coat the rose's petals,

    A smile reveals from within the narcissus.
