Tell the dear one, may God prolong his joy,

And time itself serves his lofty door.

With a grandson God has blessed him, no less,

Constant are your blessings and graces.

Let the brave prince congratulate his father,

Gifted with a branch, met by a branch.

When the glad tidings flew of his newborn,

And the eyes were delighted at what ears had heard.

Your loving friend has composed a chronogram,

In splendor the beautiful face appeared.
