دَعِ المبَاهجَ لا تَحفَل بِمُتَعتِها

دَعِ المبَاهجَ لا تَحفَل بِمُتَعتِها

وانهَض إلى ثَمراتِ العِلم تَجنِيها

وانهَض إلى ثَمراتِ العِلم تَجنِيها

Forsake delights; pay no heed to the pleasure they afford.

And rise toward the fruits of knowledge, to reap them.

وكُن كَبِنِبينَ بالعِرفَانِ ذَا شغَفٍ

وكُن كَبِنِبينَ بالعِرفَانِ ذَا شغَفٍ

فبينَ بينَ إلى بِنبينَ أُهدِيهَا

فبينَ بينَ إلى بِنبينَ أُهدِيهَا

Be like Benjamin, possessed of a passion for knowledge.

Middling though it may be, to Binbin I dedicate it.
