قُل لِمَن مَرُّوا عَلَينَا

ثُمَّ حَيَّونَا كُسَالى

Tell those who passed by us

Then greeted us drunk

سَكِروا بِالمَالِ والجَا

هِ فَهُم منه ثُمَالى

Intoxicated by wealth and status so they are burdened by it

You have money and status

لكمُ مالٌ وجاهٌ

ولنَا اللهُ تعالى

And we have Allah the Most High
