1. أيا مَن طبَّقَ الآفاقَ ذِكرَا

    وعمَّ نَوالهُ بَراًّ وبَحرَا

    I gazed upon the horizon, recalling Your name

    And Your blessings encompassed both land and sea

  2. أُكابِدُ يومَهُ فَقراً مثريعاً

    أَانتَ بِجانِبي وأخافُ فَقرا

    I struggle through days of bitter poverty

    You stand beside me, yet still I fear destitution
