I returned to myself, so I blamed my pebbles,
And I knew that soon my sorrows would scatter.
I thought my life would remain after its afflictions,
And I called my people, so I counted my life.
They accused me of barrenness in my youth, if only
They had accused me of barrenness nearing my death.
I grieved for him from the grief of words, if only
I was barren, so I would not grieve the words of my enemies.
