هَل مِن خَبَرِ يا نَسَماتِ البانِ

في طَيَّكِ عن أُولئِكَ الجيرانِ

Is there any news, O gentle winds,

لا تَعتقِدوُني رُمتُ عَنهم بَدَلاً

لا سَلوَةً لي ولا زَمانٌ ثانِ

Do not think I have exchanged them for another,
