يا من هَجَروا ما هكذا الأُلاَّفُ

آحادُ ليالي هَجرِكُمُ آلافُ

Oh you who have abandoned me, not like this is companionship

The nights of your abandonment are thousands

مقصوُدكُمُ إِتلافُ روحِي وَأَنا

قَد هَانَ عَلَيَّ ذَلِكَ الإِتلافُ

While you intend the ruin of my soul, I

Have become indifferent to such ruin
