    جنّتِنا في الأزليّة

    Before we descended from

    Our paradise in eternity

  2. حين كنّا ذرّة في

    جانب اللَه سنيّه

    When we were an atom in

    The side of eternal God

  3. جوهرتنا يدهُ العل

    يا بنور القدسيّه

    Our essence His hand adorned

    O light of holiness

  4. فاقتسمناها حياةً

    في السماوات هنيّه

    We shared it as a life

    In heavens, tranquil

  5. وأراد اللَهُ أن نل

    بسَ ثوب الآدميّه

    And God wanted us to wear

    The garb of humanity

  6. فافترقنا رغم ما يج

    معنا في العاطفيّه

    So we parted despite what unites

    Us in affection

  7. والتقينا بعد آبادٍ

    بسرّ الجاذبيّه

    And we met after long ages

    By the secret of gravity

  8. التقينا فانتشينا

    برحيق الأبديّه

    We met and flourished

    With the nectar of eternity

  9. ونهَبنا العمر أحلام

    ليالٍ نابغيّه

    And we dreamed dreams

    Of brilliant nights

  10. ثم وليّت فماتت أغ

    نياتي في بديّه

    Then they passed and died

    My songs in wilderness

  11. ودجا عمري وهانت

    بهجةُ الدنيا عليّه

    And my life darkened and

    The joy of life faded from me

  12. وغداً يا توأم الروح

    تعودين إليّه

    And tomorrow O soulmate

    You will return to me

  13. قصّةٌ سلسلها اللَهُ

    وعاشتها البريّه

    A story God chained

    And humanity lived

  14. الألوهيّة فيها

    مثّلتها البشريّه

    Divinity in it

    Humanity represented
