  1. سألقاكِ حين تنام النجوم

    وتصحو الأماني على نورِها

    I will meet you when the stars sleep,

    And hopes awaken in their light,

  2. وَتُفضى الرياض بأسرارِها

    وأسرارُها عِطر أزهارها

    And gardens reveal their secrets,

    Their secrets, the scent of their flowers.

  3. لنَسرِقَ من عمرِنا ساعةً

    نعيش الحياة على ذكرها

    Let us steal an hour from our life,

    To live it in remembrance of them.

  4. فأُسلِمُ نفسي وقلبي إليك

    كشاديةِ في حمى طيرها

    I surrender my soul and heart to you,

    Like a fawn in the care of its mother.

  5. وجسمي ستعصرُه كرمَةً

    وتسقى شبابك من خمرها

    My body you will wring like a vine,

    And quench your youth with its wine.

  6. وأُعطيك من شفتي قبلةً

    يذوبُ وجودُكِ في نارها

    And I will give you a kiss from my lips,

    To melt your being in its fire.

  7. سألقاكِ طيفاً براه الحنين

    ودُنيا يحنُّ إلى فجرها

    I will meet you, a specter longing cried,

    And a world yearning for its dawn.

  8. فأسعد يومى وأحيا غدي

    وأُطلِقُ روحي من أسرها

    To make my day joyful and my tomorrow alive,

    And to unleash my spirit from its fetters.
