1. واقعٌ أروعُ من نسجِ الخيال

    ومن الأنباء صدقٌ كالمُحال

    A reality more beautiful than the weaving of imagination

    And news of truth like the impossible

  2. ويقينٌ أذهل الشكّ فلم

    يبق للشكّ على الأرض مجال

    And certainty that stunned doubt so

    Doubt had no more room on earth

  3. وإذا ما استيقظ الحقّ فلا

    عُدّ في الأحياء عبّاد الضلال

    And when truth awoke there was no

    Counting among the living the worshipers of misguidance

  4. لعنةٌ خرقاءُ فرعونيةٌ

    تلك يا هتلرُ أم ريح الزوال

    An old curse, Pharaonic

    That, O Hitler, is the wind of decline

  5. وضحاياك الألى أرهَقتَهم

    شربوا الوهمَ على ذكر الخيال

    And your victims that you exhausted

    Drank illusion in the mention of imagination

  6. وترى البيد وقد روّيته

    بالدم الدافق من صيد الرجال

    And you see the waste that you watered

    With the flowing blood of the hunting of men

  7. والعذارى أورَدتهنَ الوَغى

    مورِداً غطّت حوافيه الصلال

    And the virgins whom strife brought

    To a pasture whose edges were covered in sterility

  8. واليتامى بين مفطوم على

    ذلّة الجوع وأنضاء اعتلال

    And the orphans between one weaned on

    The humiliation of hunger and nights of weakness

  9. والثكالى ذُقن من كفّ الردى

    حمَمَ الثكل فأبكين الجبال

    And the bereaved women endured from the palm of misery

    The heat of bereavement so they made the mountains weep

  10. أين يا جزّار ما أرهَفتَه

    لبنى الإنسانِ من دامى النصال

    Where, O butcher, is what you made delicate

    For the children of man of the blood of swords

  11. أين صرحُ المجد قد شيّدتَه

    فوق أشلاءِ الضحايا والرمال

    Where is the edifice of glory you built

    Over the limbs of victims and sands

  12. مصرَعٌ للخير لم تحفِل به

    بعد أن صالَ بك الشر وجال

    An end to good that you did not care for

    After evil befell you and wandered

  13. أين لا أين فقد ضمّ الثرى

    رائد البغي فما يجدي السؤال

    Where, no where, as the earth embraced

    The leader of oppression so questioning is useless

  14. من ضِفافِ الرين طارت شُعلة

    شبّها الفُهرَرُ حمراءُ الظلال

    From the banks of the Rhine rose a flame

    Lit by volcanoes, red shadows

  15. ضجّتِ الدنيا لها جازِعَةً

    ثم غنّت بعد أن مات الذُبال

    The world cried out to it terrified

    Then sang after the wolves died

  16. فاكتبوا بالنار في تاريخها

    صفحةً تبقى على مرّ الليال

    So write with fire in its history

    A page that remains through the nights

  17. أمّةٌ ماتت لتحيا أُمَمٌ

    شربت من كفّها كأسَ النكال

    A nation died so nations may live

    Drinking from its palm the cup of agony
