لَكَ الحَمد إِذ أَنقذتَني دُون رفقَتي

مِن المَوت بَينَ المَوج في ظلمة البَحرِ

Praise be to You for saving me without my company

From death among the waves in the darkness of the sea

وَنَجيتَني وَحدي بِلُطف وَرَحمة

سَريعاً بِلا سُوء إِلى ساحة البَر

You rescued me alone with kindness and mercy

Swiftly without harm to the shore of land
