إِلى دار البَقا حثَّ المَطايا

تَقيٌّ في قُصور العزِّ ناشي

Towards the abode of eternity the mounts did hasten

Godfearing in the palaces of honor residing

وَفي رجب تَوارى وَهوَ راض

بِما أُوتي وَغابَ عَن الحَواشي

And in Rajab he disappeared while being content

With what he was granted and absent from all besides

فقالَ الفَوزُ لِلرضوان أَرّخ

So Paradise said to Beatitude: Make record
