جُيوشي في مَيادين القِلاعِ

حَوَت بِالحَزم عَزماً حَيدَريا

My armies in the battlefields

Have resolutely girded themselves

وَها هِيَ تَحتَ أَعلامي تَراها

أُسوداً ترغم الأَنف الأَبيا

And here they are, under my flags you see

Lions forcing the haughty nose down

وَباسمي صارَ طالعها سَعيداً

وَقَد نالَت بِهِ شَأواً عَليا

And by my name their fortune turned auspicious

And through it they attained high glory

وَإِن اللَه أَيدني بِنَصرٍ

سَمَت مصر بِهِ فَوقَ الثُريّا

And God granted me victory

By which Egypt rose above the Pleiades
