بُشرى لِديوان المَدارس قَد أَتى

صَدرُ العُلا مَنشيه إسماعيلُ

Glad tidings for the schools' office has come

Its pillar of greatness, Ismail, issues forth

وَبِهِ المَعارف قامَ عِندَ قُدومه

مِنها عَلى حسن الثَناء دَليل

And by his arrival knowledge was raised up

Among them, his excellent praise as proof
