يا سميّ الإِمام صدّيق طَه

جدِّك الطاهرِ النبيِّ العَظيمِ

O namesake of the Imam, the truthful Taha

Your immaculate grandfather, the great Prophet

عشتَ في هَذِهِ ثَمانين إِلّا

واحِداً في إِمارة مَع نَعيم

You lived eighty less one year

In a principality with bliss

وَبِثاني شُهور عامك هَذا

قُلتَ لَبيك للسَميع العليم

And in the second month of this, your year

You said "Here I am" to the All-Hearing, All-Knowing

وَإِلى تِلكَ قَد دُعيتَ لِتَحظى

بِالمُنى في جِنان برّ رَحيم

And to that you were called to enjoy

Favor in the Gardens of the Merciful Lord

حَيث فيها يَفوز بِالقُرب عَبد

قَد أَتى رَبَّه بِقَلب سَليم

Where a servant who came to his Lord

With a sound heart attains nearness

وَلَكَ الحور في القُصور تُحيّي

بِتحيات ذي ثَواب جَسيم

For you are the houris in palaces who greet

With abundant reward and great welcome

وَتُنادي رضوان بِاللَه أَرَّخ

راتبٌ في سَلام رَب كَريم

And Riḍwān calls out, "By God, set down

A stipend in the peace of the Bountiful Lord"
