لَكَ اِعتَرَفتْ بِالسَبق في خَير دَولة

أَوربّا وَأَمريقا وَأَقطارُ آسيا

You have been acknowledged as the foremost in the best state

By Europe, Africa and parts of Asia

وَأَهدى إِلى عَلياك في مَصر قَيصرٌ

نَشانَ اِفتِخار قَد غَدا بِكَ ساميا

And Caesar gifted you in Egypt

An honorary medal that has become sublime

لِأَنَّك في كُل الأُمور مُوفقٌ

لإصلاح أَحوالٍ تؤيد وَاليا

Because you succeed in all matters

To reform conditions, oh High Supporter

وَأَنك قَد أَحرَزت بِالفَضل رُتبةً

تَدوم بِها في المُلك يا صَدر عاليا

And you have attained by virtue a rank

That endures with you in the rule, oh High Chief

فَلا زالَ يا صدّيق أمرك نافِذاً

وَلا عاشَ مَن أَمسى لِذاتك شانيا

So may your command, oh friend, remain effective

And may he who turns hostile to you not live

وَدُمت عَلى طُول الزَمان مؤيداً

بِنَصر بِهِ تَزداد فينا مَعاليا

And may you remain supported for long ages

With a victory by which your glories increase in us

وَلا زالَ مَجدي فيكَ يَشدو مؤرخاً

تَبجَّلَ باِسماعيل قوردونُ روسيا

And may my glory in you continue composing poems
