مرتب العام في بَيتي لِعائلَتي

خَمس وَعشرون أردبّاً مِن البُرِّ

The annual provision in my home for my family

Twenty five bushels of wheat

وَالفول فيهِ لأَطيار وَماشية

سَبعٌ مقدّرة في العسر وَاليُسر

And beans for the birds and livestock

Seven allotted in hardship and ease

فَمر بإرسالها يا اِبن الكِرام وَفُز

طُول المَدى مِن جَميع الناس بِالشُكر

So pass on sending them, O son of nobles, and gain

Endless gratitude from all people
