بَشائرُ مصرٍ بِالقُدوم إِشارةٌ

إِلى حسن إِقبالٍ لِأَكرم والدَهْ

Egypt's tidings of arrival are a sign

Of good fortune for the son of its noble father

وَعَودتها بِالعز أَكبر شاهد

عَلى صحة فيها لَنا كُل فائِدَهْ

And its return with glory is the greatest proof

Of its benefit for us in every way
