With you the horizon of justice in Egypt shines bright

O minister of the king, O lofty minaret

O counselor, your generous hands tomorrow

Will spurn every valley for the seas

And ally of the downtrodden whose praise

Flowers like pearls in the string of daybreak

And prince whose insight guides to

All that brings goodness to homelands

And refuge for the destitute poor

Who won without asking with easiness

My imprisonment has been long, O Abu Al-Siddiq, in

The era of Eid Al-Fitr in the tightest home

And my little ones, their conditions have changed

Destitution has demolished them with havoc

So relieve the plight that has befallen and the zeal

In which is for them mending of their breaking

And fulfill the promise and relieve the agony

O father of the sublime, afore the dunes

And be kind to a servant thankful

For hands that were not limited by confinement

And suffice him in seven months

What he saw of the pain of waiting

May God increase your acceptance, what appeared

Radiant lights from the sun of day
