بَدا في سَماء العُلا طالِعاً

خِتانُك صنواً بِدار سَعيدَهْ

Your auspicious star rose high in the sky

And settled as a blessed home

فَطابَ السُرور لَنا وَاِزدَهى

بِعقك عَن شَمس حُسن فَريده

So joy increased for us

From a sun of unique beauty

خَريدة عقد زَكا أَصلُها

بِحُسن فِعال فجاءَت حَميده

A precious jewel with origins most pure

Through fair deeds it came to be praised

يَقول لَكَ السَعد بُشراك أَرّخ

ختان لَبيب بَدا مَع وَليده

Good fortune says to you, rejoice!

A wise child was born to his guardian
