1. نَوال يمناك وَهوَ العارض الهامي

    بِهِ تحقق قَبل الآن إِلهامي

    Your right hand grants protection, though fate frowns.

    In it my dreams of old are now fulfilled.

  2. وَسَيفك العَضب في غَمدٍ لَهُ أَبَداً

    يودي مِن الهاصر الفَتّاك بِالهام

    Your angry blade forever in its sheath abides;

    Else would it strike the ruthless with death.

  3. فَمَن يَخف صَولة الباغي وَأَنتَ لَهُ

    مَع الإِصابة عَن قَوس الرَدى رامي

    Who would risk your lion's wrath? Yours is the bow

    That finds its mark when arrows fly amain.

  4. وَمَن يَكُن بِذمام مِنكَ مدّرعاً

    يبدّد الشَمل في كرّ وَإِقدام

    Who dons your harness as protection

    Scatters the ranks in feat and headlong flight.

  5. وَفي الأَمان الَّذي شيدت دَولتَه

    نام الأَنّام بِإِنجاد وَإتهام

    In the peace your rule has built, nations slumber

    Trusting your aid, submitting to your reign.

  6. وَللنزيل القرى في خير مملكة

    لِصادق الوَعد ماضي الحَدّ بسام

    Happy the guest of a generous kingdom,

    True to its word and the covenant it keeps.

  7. يا ناشر العَدل بِالعَزم الَّذي خَضعت

    لَهُ البَرية مِن عرب وَأَعجام

    Oh you who spread justice with unbending will

    To which both Arab and non-Arab yield,

  8. وَيا نصيراً لدين اللَه في فئة

    تَخشى بسالَتَها أَبناءُ ضرغام

    Defender of God's faith against the hordes

    Who fear the valour of Dhiraar's sons,

  9. وَيا مُبيد الألى راعوا بسطوتهم

    كَماةَ أَنصارِ سابورٍ وَبهرام

    Vanquisher of tyrants who oppressed and claimed

    Lands, like the lords of Persia long ago,

  10. وَيامربي جُنودٍ في شجاعتهم

    أَنسوا بذكر الوَغى أَضرابَ بسطام

    Commander of legions whose courage sings

    Of glory, heedless of the battle's flow,

  11. وَيا مُشيّد أَركان المَهابة في

    كُلِّ البقاع بِلا نَقض وَإِبرام

    Builder of awe's foundations in all climes

    Without reversal or the pact's demise.

  12. وَمَن لتونسك الغَرّاء قَد غبطت

    عَلى رفاهتها أَقطارُ إِسلام

    Tunisia by your grace is envied for

    Her prosperity by all Islamic lands.

  13. وَمَن لَكَ الأُمة الأميّة اعترفت

    بِأَنك اِبن السراة العادل الحامي

    The common folk confess you are the son

    Of chiefs, just protector, upright guardian.

  14. وَمَن بيقظتك الأَوطان حالفَها

    دَوامُ إِنصافِها في فَصل أَحكام

    Your vigilance brings justice that endures

    When you arbitrate the law's complexities.

  15. وَمَن إِذا أَمّك الموتور أَنصفه

    مِن خَصمه مشرفيٌّ مُرهف ظامي

    If you must choose between disputants, you know

    To favour justice with wisdom's piercing eye.

  16. وَمَن سمحت بِلا سؤل وَلا طلب

    لِكُل عَبد بإِحسان وَإنعام

    Without request, you grant to every slave

    Kindness and favour generously.

  17. وَمَن لَكَ المُصطفى نعم الوَزير وَمَن

    أَيدته بِالهدى مِن نشر أَعلام

    The Chosen One declared you the best vizier; you

    Guide with wisdom, spreading faith's emblems.

  18. فَجالَ في حَومة التَدبير معتمداً

    عَلى رَشادك في مَحوٍ لِأَوهام

    Thus you excel in governance, relying on

    Your wisdom to dispel all doubts.

  19. حَتّى صَفا لبني الأَوطان مَوردُهم

    بحزمِه وَذَكاء الوافر النامي

    Through prudent care, your people's streams run pure

    Thanks to your strong, ever-growing wisdom.

  20. لَكَ البَشائر فَالعيد الكبير أَتى

    بِما يسرّك مِن نحرٍ لأخصام

    Good news! The feast day comes to glad your heart

    With triumphs over every foe.

  21. لا زلت راحتُك البَيضاء تلثمها

    ذوو السِيادة في عيد وَأَعوام

    Nobles still long to kiss your hand on days

    Of feast, in years and eras without end.

  22. وَلَم تَزَل أَلسُنُ العَليا مؤرخةً

    عيد أَضاء لجود الصادق السامي

    Historians date our age from the feast that shone

    With your sincerity's glorious light.
