1. يا بُغيةَ الملكِ للأَوطان آمالُ

    نجازُها تَقتضيه مِنكَ أَحوالُ

    O seeker of the kingdom's good for homelands, hopes

    Whose fulfillment your condition necessitates

  2. قَد سرّها ذكر إبراهيم خَير أَبٍ

    ذلَّت لِعزَّته في الحَرب أَبطال

    His mention brought her joy, Ibrahim the best father

    For his dignity heroes bowed in war

  3. كَم في المآثر مِن جدّ وَمنقبة

    لَم يُحصِها قَبلَهُ في الكَون أَقيال

    How many glories and virtues

    Not tallied by anyone before in the universe

  4. فَأَنتَ أَعظَم صَدر مِنكَ قَد حسنت

    في النهي وَالأَمر أَقوالٌ وَأَفعال

    You are the greatest in chest from whom goodness came

    In forbidding and commanding, words and deeds

  5. وَهَذِهِ مَصرك الغرّا قَد اِبتَهَجَت

    برفعة قَد علاها مِنكَ إِفضال

    And here is your Egypt delighted

    By the loftiness with which you blessed it

  6. وَالآن أَعلامها المَطوية اِنتَشَرَت

    مِنها عَلى هامة الجَوزاء أَشكال

    And now its furled banners unfurled

    On the brows of Leo figures

  7. وَكَيفَ لا وَهيَ قَد عزت وَطابَ لَها

    مِنكَ التَهاني وَعَنها غابَ إِذلال

    Why not when it gained might and was sweetened for it

    From you congratulations and humiliation left it

  8. وَالدَولة اِرتَفَعَت أَركانُها وَسَمَت

    وَلاحَ حالاً عَلَيها مِنكَ إِجلال

    And the state, its pillars rose high aiming

    And for it your esteem shone a condition

  9. وَقَد عَلَت بِكَ وَاِزدادَت مَحاسنها

    يَوم الوِلاية آثارٌ وَأَطلال

    And with you it increased in beauty

    On the day of assumption traces and ruins

  10. فَاِنهَض إِلى مسند عال دَعاك لَهُ

    فَضلٌ بِهِ ضُرِبت لِلناس أَمثال

    So rise to the lofty position called you to it

    Grace with which examples were given to people

  11. وَالعَدل مَعْك رَبي في المَهد وَاِعتَرَفَت

    بِهِ لعلياك أَملاكٌ وَعُمّال

    And justice my Lord in the cradle and it acknowledged

    To your ascendance kingdoms and workers

  12. وَأَنتَ نِعم النصير اِبنُ النَصير وَمن

    بحزمه اِندَفَعَت عَن مَصر أَهوال

    And you are the best victorious son of the victorious and he who

    With his resolve Egypt's horrors evaded

  13. وَمَن عَلَيهِ الرَعايا عوّلت وَمَضى

    عَن القُلوب بِهِ رَوعٌ وَأَوجال

    And he on whom the subjects depended and passed

    From hearts alarm and fears

  14. وَالملك وَالدين وَالتمدين أَنتَ لِما

    تَسمو بِهِ يا أَثيل المَجد فَعّال

    And you are for what you aspire with, O peerless in glory

    The kingdom, religion and civilization a doer

  15. فَاقبل هدية مَملوكٍ مَدائحُه

    يا أَوحَد الدَهر لِلتحقيق تمثال

    So accept the gift of a slave whose praises

    O unique one of the times for realization a statue

  16. فَأَنتَ أَولى بِأَمر لا يَقوم بِهِ

    سِواك في هَذِهِ الأَوطان رئبال

    For you are worthier of a matter none other than you

    In these homelands, a chief, can manage

  17. لا زلت فيها بِما أُوتيت مُبتهجاً

    وَمِنكَ أَيدها بِالنَصر أَشبال

    I have not ceased delighted in it with what I was given

    And from you its cubs assist it with victory

  18. أَو المَعالي بِها قالت مؤرخة

    لِمصر بِالليث إِسماعيل إِقبال

    Or glories with which history said to Egypt

    With the lion, Ismail good fortunes
