يا أَهلَ سارِيَةَ السَلامِ عَلَيكُمُ

قَد قَلَّ في أَرضيكُم الخطباءُ

O people of Sariya, peace be upon you

The orators have become few in your land

حَتّى غَدا الفَأفاءُ يَخطُب فيكُم

وَمن العَجائِبِ خاطب فَأَفاءُ

Until the useless has come to orate among you

And of wonders, the useless makes speech
