يا طالِباً سمتَ الرَشادِ وَالسَدَد

لا تَحسِدَنَّ كَيفَما كُنتَ أَحَد

O seeker of guidance and righteousness

Envy no one, no matter who they be

كَيلا تَضيفَ كَمداً إِلى كَمَد

فَلَيسَ لِلحاسِدِ الا ما حَسَد

Lest you add burdens upon burdens

For the envious shall have naught but envy
