ما أَصعَبَ حالَتي وَما أَسوأَها

إِن أَمرَضَ مُهجَتي فَمَن أَبرأَها

How hard is my condition, how bad it is

If my heart falls sick, then who will heal it?

هَل يُمكِنُ أَن أَشفى يَوماً عللي

أَو أبصرَ مِن جُفونِهِ منشأَها

Is it possible that I will be cured of my ailments one day

Or see from its eyelids the place it came from?
