Who, then, will tell the young men of my people
that arrows have rained upon every plume,
بنأن اللَه أبدل من سعيد
سعيدا لا المخنث من قريش
that God has put, in place of Saʿīd,
a Saʿīd—not the effeminate one of Quraysh?
