The Fast, the Feast, the holidays, and the age,

Are illuminated by you, even the sun and the moon.

You show the crescent moons a face of all-encompassing grace,

Such that mankind is not the sole recipient of its bounty.

Time, in your presence, is but a garden untouched,

O you whose noble virtues are the blossoms of his era.

Your generosity knows no end within its days,

So may your life know no end within its years.

For your fortune in their repetition is honor,

While the fortune of others is gray hair and old age.
