The day has passed, yet your light still deludes us
The day has passed, yet a light from you beguiles us,
That it has not, though the wings of night pull in
Making us think it remains, though the wing of night descends.
If the garden’s quest is what keeps us awake
If it is the search for a garden that holds us here,
Then rejoice, for every place where you are is a garden
Then go forth, for every place, with you, is a garden.
