غَيرُ مُستَنكِرٍ لَكَ الإِقدامُ

فَلِمَن ذا الحَديثُ وَالإِعلامُ

Without blame, I venture forth

Your boldness is not something we disclaim,

To whom does this tale belong?

So for whom is this speech and this acclaim?

قَد عَلِمنا مِن قَبلُ أَنَّكَ مَن لَم

يَمنَعِ اللَيلُ هَمَّهُ وَالغَمامُ

We've known well before that you are one whom

We have known long before that you are he

Neither night nor clouds could discourage.

Whose will neither the night nor clouds can tame.
