Oh how graceful when she sways
Oh, how exquisite is that eye,
Were it not for mischief, I'd not admire
Were it not for its charm, I would not marvel.
So very dainty in her daintiness
Saffron-hued within its amber essence,
Dark-skinned as a fox's grapes
Dark at the core like the nightshade berry.
When the falcon glances at her shoulder
When the hawk turns to gaze upon his wing,
His plumage casts a gleam upon her arm
It clothes his shoulder in a ray of light.
