زعَمَ المقيمُ بكَوتكينَ بأنَّهُ

من آلِ هاشمٍ بنِ عبدِ منافِ

Was of the lineage of Hashim bin Abd Manaf;

فأجبَتُهُ مُذ صرتَ من أبنائِهِم

صارت قُيودُهُم منَ الصفصافِ
