1. خُضِ الفَلاةَ وَبَحر القَفرِ فَاِقتَحما

    قَد فازَ مَن خاضَ بَحرَ القَفرِ وَاِقتَحما

    Cross the wilderness and the sea of deserts boldly

    He who crossed the sea of deserts succeeded gloriously

  2. خاطِر بِنَفسِكَ لِلأَخطارِ وَاِرمِ بِها

    إِنّ المُخاطِرَ محمودٌ وَلو عدما

    Risk yourself for dangers and throw yourself at them

    Taking risks is praiseworthy even if it fails

  3. فَإِنّ مَن رَكِبَ الأَخطارَ نالَ بِها

    بَينَ الوَرى خَطراً فيهِ عَلا وَسَما

    He who dared dangers attained by them glory

    A perilous glory in which he ascended and became high

  4. وَاِركَب عَلى العَزمِ شِمليلاً مهذّبةً

    حرفاً مُذلّلة لا تَرهَبُ الأَجَما

    Mount on determination a docile, well-mannered she-camel

    Whose every letter is tamed, fearing no skulls

  5. عَتيقة عَيطل عُسّ غدافِرة

    نَجيبة رسلة كَالرّيحِ لو نسما

    An old she-camel, tall, fleet

    Noble, swift like the blowing wind

  6. غَلبا رُسوم قُلوص مِن مُهجّنة

    عَيرانية عِرمس لا تَعرِفُ الأَلما

    Mostly crosses various breeds

    Ignorant of pain

  7. عَبل مقيّدها عَذب مقلّدها

    يَزدانُ مخطمها فيما بِه خطما

    Tethered softly, trotting rhythmically

    Its saddle cloth shines beautifully

  8. رَشيقَة القَدِّ باهٍ حُسن مَنظَرِها

    جَميلَة الوَجهِ إِذ بِالحسنِ قد وُسِما

    Slender, gloriously created, beautifully faced

    Marked by beauty

  9. تَعلو قَوائِمها تَقوى مَياسِمها

    لا نَقصَ في سَيرِها سَهلاً ولا علما

    Her legs rise up, her tendons strengthen

    No falling in her gait, no stumbling

  10. تَدوسُ جَمرَ الحَصى في كلِّ هاجِرة

    لَم تَخشَ في دَوسِها جَمراً ولا ضَرما

    She walks on burning pebbles in every wasteland

    Never fearing the fire of pebbles and sparks in her stride

  11. تَطيرُ كَالطّيرِ لَكِن دونَ أَجنِحَةٍ

    وَتَسبِقُ النّسرَ وَالبازات وَالرّخما

    She flies like a bird but without wings

    Outpacing the eagle, the falcon and the ostrich

  12. تَهوي بِراكِبها كَالرّيحِ عاصِفة

    تَخالها تَأكلُ البيداءَ وَالأَكَما

    She dives with her rider like a raging storm

    As if she eats up the plains and hills

  13. تَظنّها الطّود مِن بعدٍ وَتُبصِرهُ

    يَسيرُ كَالبرقِ في الظّلماءِ مُبتَسِما

    You fancy her, from afar, a mountain

    Walking like smiling lightning in the dark

  14. تُبَلِّغُ المرءَ أَرضاً عَنهُ قَد بَعُدت

    وَتَجمَعُ الشّملَ بِالأَحبابِ مُنتظما

    She takes a man to a distant land

    And reunites parted lovers

  15. وَتَجعلُ المَرءَ في تَبليغِ مَقصدهِ

    بَعدَ الحَرارةِ مَثلوجَ الحَشا شَبما

    And gets a man, after hardship

    To his goal, cool under the blazing sun

  16. وَاِطرَح بِها في صُدورِ القفرِ عادِيَة

    يا فَوزَ شَخصٍ بِها صَدرَ القِفارِ رَمى

    Release her into the chest of the desert leisurely

    Oh, the success of one who opened the chest of deserts

  17. وَاِقصُد بِها عكّةً دار الجِهادِ كَذا

    دار السُعودِ وَقِف بِالبابِ مُحترما

    Head to Akka, abode of jihad, likewise

    The abode of Saud, halt at its gates reverently

  18. دار بِها العزُّ وَالعَلياء مع شرفٍ

    وَالمَجد وَالجود فاقَ البَحرَ والدِّيما

    The abode wherein is glory, nobility with honor

    And fame and generosity, beyond seas and rivers

  19. حِصن الشّآمِ وَأَهليهِ الّذينَ بِهِ

    دامَت لَهم مُحتمى يَبقى وَمُعتصما

    The fortress of Sham and its people who

    Always found refuge in it, lasting and protected

  20. وَسورَة النّصرِ وَالفَتح المبينِ عَلى

    أَسوارِها قَلَمُ التّأييدِ قَد رَقَما

    The Surahs of Victory and the Manifest Conquest are

    Like slogans on its walls, decreed by the heaven’s aid

  21. دار هِيَ الغابُ لِلّيثِ الهصورِ بِها

    تَعنو الأسودُ لَهُ في بوسِها القَدما

    The abode that is the forest of the roaring lion

    Where even lions bow to kiss its threshold

  22. نور الشّجاعَةِ بادٍ فَوقَ جَبهَتِهِ

    فَأَيّ لَيثٍ رآه خرَّ مُنعَدِما

    The light of courage shines on his forehead

    What lion that sees it would not despair?

  23. تَبدو فَرائسهُ أُسد الشّرى وَبِها

    يُضيف وَحش الفَلا مِن لَحمِها كَرما

    His prey appears; the lion of the evil ones

    Who hosts the beasts of wilderness with his flesh generously

  24. يُطير في سَيفهِ ضَرباً جَماجِمَهم

    تَطيرُ في الجوِّ قَد رامَت صُعودَ سَما

    With his sword he blows their skulls in the air skywards

    As if they sought elevation and the highest heaven

  25. يَبري رِقابهمُ مَسحاً بعاضبهِ

    كَأَنّهُ قَد بَرى في عَضبهِ قَلَما

    He shears their necks with his sharp blade

    As if, in his wrath, he sheared but a pen

  26. كَم يَطعن العشرَ بالخطّيّ يَنظِمهم

    عَقدا فريداً بِلا مِثل لَهُ نُظما

    How he pierces ten with his slim sword, stringing them

    Into a unique and peerless necklace

  27. وَلَو رَمى مِنهمُ مَن كانَ مُستَنِداً

    سَهماً لسمّره بِالسّهمِ حَيثُ رَمى

    Had he thrown his spear at one who stood leaning

    He would have nailed him to where he threw

  28. الفارِس البَطل الهِلقام مُفتَرِساً

    يَخوضُ بَحرَ الوَغى وَالحرب مُقتَحِما

    The gallant hero plunging into the tumult and war

    Diving in while the winds of war rage

  29. يَخوضُهُ وَرِياحُ الحَربِ هائِجَة

    وَحَيثُ قَد ماجَ بِالآسادِ مُلتَطِما

    And the lions clash loudly

    You see him like the moon under clouds appearing

  30. تَراهُ كَالبَدرِ مِن تَحتِ العَجاجِ بَدا

    وَسَيفهُ البرقُ في جَوفِ الدّجى اِبتَسَما

    His sword lightning smiling in the blanket of darkness

    If he charged at the forefront of army cavalry

  31. فَلَو عَلا المعرب اليَعبوب ثمَّ عَدا

    لَفَرَّ جيشَ الأَعادي مِنهُ وَاِنهَزَما

    He would rout the enemy’s army which would disperse

    Lord of glory and vigilant lion who

  32. رَبّ المُروءَةِ وَاللّيث الغيورِ وَمَن

    قَد ذَبَّ عَن بَيضةِ الإِسلامِ حَيث حَمى

    Guarded over the egg of Islam wherever he protected

    Even lions would fear his breath

  33. تَهابُهُ الأسدُ لَو شَمَّت لَهُ نَفَساً

    مَرغومَة الأَنفِ لَو جازَت بِهِ شَمَما

    Sagging of nostril should they perceive his scent

    He is the minister whose ministry

  34. هُوَ الوَزيرُ الّذي أَضحَت وِزارَتُهُ

    بَدر الوِزارَةِ مِن جَوزائِها نجَما

    Became the full moon among its stars

    The resolute ruler whose religion clothed

  35. الحاكم الشّهم من تَقوى دِيانَته

    قَد أَلبسَ الحكمُ مِنهُ الحِلم وَالحكَما

    Rule with wisdom and judgement

    The noble master whose glory adorns

  36. السيّد الفَخمُ مَنْ عَلياؤُهُ اِتَّشَحت

    بِسُؤدد المَجدِ وَاِزدادَت بِهِ عظما

    The garments of glory, magnifying it

    Crown of sublimity wherein the ages are ennobled

  37. تاج المَعالي وَفيهِ الدّهر قَد شَرفت

    وَشَرّفت حيثُما صارَت له خدَما

    And ennobled wherever his servants went

    All the noble chiefs served his elevation

  38. وَاِستَخدَمت لِعلاهُ كلّ ذي شَرف

    وَقادَت السّعد حتّى أَنّه خدما

    And good fortune served until it too became service

    The bright, luminous face whose light

  39. الأَزهَر الوَجهِ مَنْ أَنوارُ غُرَّتِهِ

    تَجلو البُدورَ بِها الدّيجور والغَسَما

    Dispels darknesses and gloomy shadows

    The pure race who ascended lineage

  40. الطّاهر الأَصلِ وَهوَ المُعتَلي حَسباً

    وَالظاهِرُ الفَضلِ وَهوَ المُمتلي كَرما

    And apparent virtue who attained generosity

    The unmatched essence who forms necklaces’ center

  41. الجَوهر الفَرد مَنْ لِلعقدِ واسِطَة

    وَجَوهَرُ المَجدِ فيهِ لَيسَ مُنقَسِما

    And essence of glory not to be divided

    Perfect of beauty in manners and etiquette

  42. الكَامِل الحَسن الأَخلاقِ في أَدَبٍ

    وَهوَ الحَميد عَلى أَخلاقِهِ شيما

    And praiseworthy in nature and deeds

    Good repute, auspicious direction, who

  43. الطيّب الذّكرِ مَيمون النّقيبة مَنْ

    في صيتِهِ لِظُهُورِ الأُسْد قد قَصما

    Through his famed courage shattered lions

    An affluent sea which overflows with dew and generosity

  44. اللّافظ الدّرّ مَنثوراً وَمُنتَظِماً

    وَمودِع الحِكم الأَقوالَ والكَلِما

    Vanquishing poverty with his gifts

    Most generous whose rains never cease

  45. القَابِل الفَصل مَن تَكسو بَلاغَتهُ

    سَحبانَ لَو قَد رَآها العيَّ وَالبَكما

    Nor tires one day of charity and giving

    Master Al Nadbah Abdullah who the ministry took pride in

  46. مَن حِلمُهُ البحر لَكِن في مَواضِعِهِ

    وَالحلم في غَيرِها مِن جَهلِ مَن حلما

    And by whom its greatness multiplied

    Among his noble and generous people none

  47. فَالعَدلُ بُغيَتُه وَالعَفوُ عادَتهُ

    وَالصّفحُ شيمَتُهُ ذا شَأن مَن كَرُما

    Matches or resembles him, neither Arabs nor non

    By God, by God, he has no peer

  48. الخائِفُ اللّه وَالمَملوءُ مِن وَرَعٍ

    الدَّيِّن المُتّقي مَنْ للتّقى لَزِما

    And I speak true when I swear

    Oh minister whose kindness abounded

  49. المُنجز الوَعد موفي العَهد مُبرمهُ

    مِن غَيرِ نَقضٍ وَمن أَوفى الورى ذِمَما

    And whose gift of boons adorned our necks

    You obliged us to recite your eulogies

  50. بَحرٌ تفيضُ النّدى وَالجود راحتُهُ

    فَتَجعَلُ الفَقرَ في إِعطائِهِ عَدما

    With Surat Al Hamd which we never tire of

    May your army be ever victorious by the will of its Lord

  51. الأَريحيّ النّديّ الكفّ هاطِلة

    ما كَلَّ يَوماً عَنِ الإِعطا وَلا سَئِما

    Making the enemy army taste captivity and anguish

    Like Jilqaq’s army, captured doubtlessly

  52. السيّد النَّدْب عَبد اللَّهِ مَنْ فَخرت

    فيهِ الوِزارَةُ وَاِزدادَت بِهِ عِظَما

    Yours made it like sheep rounded up

    Brought to Akka wearing the garb of disgrace

  53. ما كانَ في أَهلِها الغرِّ الكِرامِ لَهُ

    مِثلٌ يُضاهيهِ لا عُرْباً ولا عَجَما

    Fearing death and nonexistence

    Treat them with your customary kindness, oh embodiment of compassion

  54. وَاللَّهِ واللَّهِ هَذا لا نَظير لَهُ

    وَإِنّني في يَميني صادِق قسَما

    And favor them by setting all of them free generously

    For grace is gratitude for what grace you have shown

  55. يا ذا الوَزيرِ الّذي جَلَّت مَراحمهُ

    وَقلّدت مِن نَداها جيدَنا نِعما

    And you thank God for the blessings He gave

    The heavens’ blossoms all beautiful like them

  56. وَاِستَوجَبت أَنّنا نَتلو مَدائِحَهُ

    بِسورَةِ الحَمدِ لَم نَعرِف بِها سَأَما

    Refined by the highbred with the utmost etiquette

    Culled from the prime of beauty and charm

  57. لا زالَ جَيشك مِن مَولاكَ مُنتَصِرا

    يُذيق جَيشَ الأَعادي الأسْر والنِّقما

    Through their eloquence beauty harmonizes

    Else beauty with eloquence would not harmonize

  58. كَجَيشِ جِلّقَ مَأسوراً بِلا ريب

    لَهُ جُيوشكَ ساقَت يشبهُ الغَنَما

    They came to you happy young singing girls

    Tokens traced beautifully on their faces

  59. وَفيهِ جيءَ إِلى عكّاءَ مُرتَدِياً

    ثَوب المَذلّةِ يَخشى المَوتَ وَالعَدَما

    Seeking the edge of your robe to kiss humbly

    For the highest honor is to those who kissed it

  60. أَنعِم عَلَيهِم أَخا الإِحسانِ مَرحَمةً

    وَاِمنُن عَلَيهِم بِإِطلاقٍ لَهُم كرما

    Welcome them, oh embodiment of welcoming compassion

    For God shows mercy to those who have mercy

  61. فَالمَنّ شُكر لما أُولِيتَهُ بِهم

    وَأَنتَ للَّه مِمّن يَشكر النِّعما

    And may you remain in enduring nobility

    By God protected and fortified

  62. وَهاكَ بِنتَ القَوافي وَالعروض أَتَت

    فيها الجَمال عَلى زُهرِ السّماء سَما

    Supported by Him, and through Him victorious over enemies

    And remain, by God, avenging those who envy

  63. هَذّبتها ذا العُلى تَهذيبَ ذا أَدبٍ

    وَصغتها مِن نضارِ الحسنِ مُغتَنِما

    The birds did not chant, nor did gazelles roam

    Dawn welcomed beautifully, melodiously

  64. وَمِن بَلاغَتِها فَالحسنُ مُنسَجِم

    لَولا البَلاغة مِنها الحُسنُ ما اِنسَجَما

    Nor did dawn tell any rebel glory lies

    Cross the wilderness and the sea of deserts boldly

  65. جاءَتكَ جارِية غَيداء غانِية

    في وَجهِها خفر قَد خطّ وَاِرتَسما

  66. تُريدُ ذَيلكَ بِالتّعظيمِ تَلثِمُهُ

    فَالعِزُّ وَالشّرفُ الأَعلى لِمَن لَثما

  67. أَقبِل عَلَيها أَخا الإِقبالِ مَرحَمةً

    فَإِنّما يرحمُ الرّحمنُ مَن رَحِما

  68. وَدُمتَ في شَرفٍ يَبقى وَعافِية

    وَدُمتَ بِاللَّهِ مَحفوظاً وَمُعتَصِما

  69. مؤَيَّداً مِنه مَنصوراً لَهُ وَبِهِ

    وَدُمتَ للَّه لِلأعداء مُنتَقما

  70. ما صاحَ طَير الرّوابي ما الهزارُ شَدا

    صبحاً وَأَحسَن في تَغريدهِ النّغما

  71. ما الفَتحُ قال لِباغٍ في الدُّنى خطراً

    خُض الفَلاة وبَحر القفرِ فَاِقتَحما
