يا حَبَّذا الآسُ يَزهو في الرّياضِ وَقَد
عَلَتهُ مِن حبِّه المُسودِّ حَبّاتُ
Oh beloved, how the myrtle blossoms in the gardens
Adorned by jet black berries of love upon it.
ما ذاكَ إِلّا عِذار الحبِّ مُزدَهِياً
في رَوضَةِ الخدّ وَالحبّات شاماتُ
That is none but the excuse of love blossoming,
In the meadow of the cheek and berries are moles.
