أَمَولايَ بَحر العِلمِ مِن غَيرِ ساحِل

وَمَن هوَ في كلِّ الفنونِ عَجيب

My wealth, an ocean of knowledge without shores

And who is unique in all disciplines

أَعاذَكَ ربّي اللَّه مِن كلِّ آفَةٍ

وَلا كانَ لِلمَكروهُ فيكَ نصيب

May God protect you from all harm

And may there be no share of dislike in you

وَلا زِلتَ في ذا الدّهرِ إِنسانَ عَينِهِ

لِأَنّك في هذا الأَوانِ غَريب

And you have remained, in this life, a person of insight

Because at this time, you are a stranger
