1. وَرَوض بِهِ الأَزهارُ تَحلو تَناسباً

    وَتَسمو اِنتِظاماً لَم تَنلهُ الرّصائعُ

    And a garden wherein the flowers sweetly harmonize

    Rising in symmetry no art could organize

  2. يُقابل فيهِ الورد وَجهاً أَقاحهُ

    وَنَرجِسُه مَنثوره وَهوَ ضائِعُ

    The rose meets there a face as fair and bright

    The narcissus gazes on that lovely sight

  3. خُدودٌ تَبَدَّت وَالثّغورُ تِجاهها

    وَأَيضاً عيونٌ قَابَلَتها أَصابِعُ

    Cheeks are revealed, lips are displayed before them

    And eyes as well, to gaze back and adore them
